Better Options In Downloading Mobile Phone Ring Tones and Mobile Phone Logos - by: Mark Bishop

Posted in movies with tags , , , , , , , , , on May 14, 2008 by wright william

Over a few years, mobile tones, cheap ring tones, mobile phone logo and downloadable game for mobile phones have become very popular among a large cross-section of mobile phone users in different parts of UK as well as other parts of the globe. A number of online providers of mobile phone logos, mobile tones as well as downloadable game for mobile phones have evolved and there is tremendous competition among them to make their presence felt in the telecom market. Many among them are enticing mobile phone users with offers that involve a lot of “small print.” Many of these offers do not respect the right of the mobile phone users to get what they are entitled to when they pay money for downloading of different types of mobile content in the form of mobile tones, mobile phone logo, cheap ring tones, other types of ring tones or those who are engaged in game downloads in their mobiles.

To protect the interests of consumers in this environment becomes all the more necessary. In this context, a number of rules have been devised to protect the rights of mobile phone users in UK for game downloads in their mobiles or in the instances of downloading of cheap ring tones, funny ring tones or a mobile phone logo. All firms that want to sell mobile phone content have to strictly follow these set of rules. These rules have been drafted by the Mobile Entertainment Forum and the UK’s phone firms.

Under the tenets of the new rules, the online firms must be transparent in their operations. They must provide all information to the end-consumers. The consumers must know what type of mobile tones or mobile phone logos they are expected to get for their money and also how they could discontinue the services of the online providers, offering the same, if they are dissatisfied with their services. The advertisements of these firms must speak in detail about the prices and time periods of the various offers in mobile tones, cheap ring tones, funny ring tones, mobile phone logos and downloadable games for mobile phones that are on offer.

Mobile phone users as consumers of the services of online retailers and providers of mobile content have a right to know what they are actually getting into, when they make a purchase of a mobile tone, mobile phone logo or game downloads for their mobiles. These rules would greatly improve the market dynamics of this sector of the mobility marketplace and would give more reasons for mobile phone users to make their online purchases of mobile phone logos, funny ring tones, Nokia ring tones, downloadable games for mobile phones, mobile tones and other forms of mobile phone content, with some degree of confidence.

Kindness - by: Rev. Sue Borg

Posted in advertising with tags , , , , , , , , , on May 14, 2008 by wright william

There is an inherent generosity in the human spirit to be of help, to be of service to others. What is it that makes us decide to be of service. What is it that inspires us and encourages us to be of support to others? What is it that makes you want to serve others.

The dictionary describes service as “work done for, and benefit given to another; an act of kindness.” As an Interfaith Minister, I have studied the world religions and found the common thread in all religions is The Golden Rule. Treat each other in the exact manner in which you would like to be treated.

His Holiness, The Dalai Lama says, “My religion as very simple; “my religion is kindness.” After the events of the past year, I believe it is kindness that will help the world return to a more loving place. Kindness is what will bring us back to feeling safe and loved and loving.

Thoughtful communication, loving words and feelings of unity are kindness in action. Being kind inspires us to be more loving, which in turn inspires us and leads us to be of service to others. When we are being of service because it is our heart’s desire, things come to us in a very loving way. Spirit shows up for the task at hand. When spirit is at hand, all tasks become easier.

When our focus is on helping, our minds move away from fear and problems to a place of peace and clarity. There is no place where love and fear can exist simultaneously, so if peace is your goal, you must find a place to share your kindness and service as then watch how things change.

One way to do this is to bring to mind one who has made an important contribution to your life – anyone who actually made you feel loved and supported. When you feel loved and supported, then you can easily go forward to be of service in the world – no matter what form it takes. Being of service happens naturally as you live and express gratitude for all that has been given you.

I’m sure you have experienced loving thoughts and deeds from others many times. Remember how it felt. The greatest gift you can offer anyone is kindness and full appreciation. When we are kind and take the time to be grateful, then God rushes in with more. This is the way in which we move forward to help others in a very kind and rich manner.

With gratitude in my heart, I bless you all today with a heart full of kindness, a mind full of gratitude, and a joyful spirit to nurture yourself by nurturing others. Teach and nourish our children with lovingkindness. This is the way in which we celebrate all that is good and true and beautiful in the world. God Bless You.

Baby’s First Year – What to Expect - by: Adriana Copaceanu

Posted in parenting with tags , , , , , , , , , on May 14, 2008 by wright william

You’ve been anxiously waiting for the arrival of your new-born baby for the last 9 months. Watching your new baby grow and change is one of the most exciting times in your lifelife - and truly makes one aware of the miracle that life is!

As a new Mom, you are probably wondering about many things:

  • how will he react to his new surroundings?
  • when will she sleep for more than 2 hours?
  • what can I expect in the following year?
  • an so many other questions…..

Each baby is different. Your baby’s rate of growth, appearance, and personality, will all be unique to him or her. As you embark on this journey with your new baby, take time to enjoy their presence in your life.

Here are some of the milestones to watch for in the first year of your baby’s development:

Newborn stage

You have just brought your baby home from the hospital to his or her newly decorated nursery, and we are sure you are very excited. In these early days, your baby may have a pointy head from the delivery process, or jaundice – yellow eyes and skin tone. These things are perfectly normal, and should go away in a few days. It is important to cuddle and love your child as much as possible now, as this is when mother/child bonding begins. Breast-feeding is very important to your child’s health both now and in later years. Newborn babies often sleep 10-12 hours per day, but will wake every 4 hours or so for feeding.

From 1 – 3 Months

Babies will begin moving more, discovering their hands, and making little sounds. They will smile now, and follow the sound of your voice as you move through their room. Babies love seeing their faces in a mirror now, and the addition of a brightly colored, “baby-safe” mobile in their cribs will provide them with great entertainment and stimulation. Babies can now lift their heads, move them from side-to-side, and focus on objects that are 8″-12″ away.

From 3-6 months

This is one of the most exciting times in your baby’s growth; many changes appear in this period. At the end of the third month, your baby will be opening and closing his little hands, holding his head up with control, reaching more and more for objects, and imitating sounds. In the fourth month, he can usually sit up with some help and is probably sleeping six hours at a stretch. It will become clearer that he or she recognizes familiar faces, and will coo and show how happy he is to see you when you enter the nursery! In the fifth and sixth months, your baby will be rolling over, making two syllable sounds and drinking from a cup. You will also be introducing solid baby foods at this time. Now is the time to baby proof the house, as your baby may be crawling during this period as well.

From 6-9 months

During this high growth period, many babies say their first words. Even if they don’t yet start talking, most begin enthusiastically babbling to themselves and develop a much wider range of facial expressions at this age. He or she will have developed specific cries for specific needs now, and will react differently to different family members. Babies in the seventh and eighth months will start to feed themselves basic finger foods, and will enjoy throwing food or dropping it on the floor to see what happens! A cuddly blanket or bear may become a favorite item now, and your baby may be stressed when separated from it. Baby will now sit unsupported too.

From 9-10 months

During this month, baby will reach for toys, try to grab the spoon during feedings, and in general, become quite a bit more active. He or she will be waving goodbye to the delight of the grandparents, will be able to pick up things using opposable thumbs, and will also start to look for things that have been dropped, like favorite toys. She will also be able to move from crawling to a sitting position, and will be quite mobile!

From 11-12 months

Baby is much more curious now, and responds well to new sounds, colors and shapes. Story time is much appreciated, and he or she will enjoy cuddling on your lab while being read to. Babies now understand and can mimic simple gestures, and can say simple words. Before turning one, your baby should enjoy stacking objects, and filling and emptying containers. Short play sessions with other children are a good idea now, and can teach baby a great deal about sharing and other social skills.

Babies are a wonderful reminder of how precious life is! Enjoy your child’s first year of life – it will go by quickly.

Tips For Successful Homeschooling - by: Desmond Edwins

Posted in food with tags , , , , , , , , , on May 14, 2008 by wright william

There are many reasons why parents choose to homeschool their kids. For many it is because they want to add religious content to their children’s learning experience.

Making the decision to home school is usually a very difficult not and it is not one to be taken lightly. It is a personal decision that no one can make for you, but maybe I can help in the thought process by providing you with a comprehensive guide to making the choice to homeschool your kids a successful one.

When making the homeschool decision, you must first consider these things:

1. Time commitment that is involved. Homeschooling has a tendency to take up a lot of time in your day. It involves more than just sitting down with books for a couple of hours. There are experiments and projects that have to be done, lessons to prepare, papers to grade, field trips, park days, music lessons, and the list just keeps on going. You can go online and search for some sample schedules that will help to give you an idea of a typical day.

2. Personal sacrifice. The homeschooling parent has very little personal time or time alone and away from their children. If a lot of care is not taken to set aside time for yourself, it is easy for the parent to feel overwhelmed. Basically, the parent and child are together 24 hours a day and this can get frustrating on both sides.

3. Financial problems can arise. Homeschooling can be accomplished with very little cost to you; however, it usually requires that the teaching parent will not be working out of the home. Some sacrifices will need to be made if the family is used to two incomes. Of course, if you are a single parent, this could pose an even bigger problem.

4. Time for socialization. More attention will need to be given to getting your children together with his/her peers. The best part of homeschooling is being able to have more control of the social contacts your child makes. However, the downside is that you must prepare your child yourself on how to socialize with other kids. Homeschooling has a tendency to make your child feel isolated.

5. Household organization is harder. Housework and laundry and other house work will still have to be done, but it probably won’t get done first thing in the morning. If you are a neat freak, you might be in for a big surprise. Not only does housework need to be let go at times, but homeschooling creates messes and clutter on its own. You will have to get organized so that you can keep your home together.

6. Both parents must agree to it. It is important that both parents agree to homeschooling. It is very difficult for this to work if one of the parents is against it. If your spouse is against it at this time, try doing more research and talking to more people so that you can be absolutely certain it is something that both of you can agree upon. Otherwise, the chances for success are much smaller.

7. Your child has to be willing. A willing student is crucial to the success of homeschooling. Ultimately, the decision is the parents to make, but if your child is dead against it, you might have a very difficult time in teaching them. The fact of the matter is that an unwilling child can sabotage his/her own school efforts.

8. Know that it works one year at a time. It isn’t a lifetime commitment and doesn’t have to become one. If you find that homeschooling just isn’t worth it, you can choose to go the regular route.

There is a lot more to homeschooling than to just do it. As a parent, you must know that your child’s education is the most important factor in his/her future. You need to be thoroughly prepared for all of the time and commitment that is involved. If you are thinking of choosing homeschooling for your child (ren), this guide will help to make it a successful transition.

Why Small Business Must Turn to PR - by: Robert A. Kelly

Why Small Business Must Turn to PR

If small business had no important outside audiences, it wouldn’t exist.

But since they do have external “publics,” it’s doubly unfortunate when those same small business owners seem unconcerned about the very outside folks whose behaviors can place a choke-hold on their business!

And worse, are so casual about public relations, the best way to move those behaviors in their direction.

Is that you? What’s the problem? Can you think of any other way to marshall those groups of people you need so badly if your business is to succeed?

Face it. You must turn to public relations if you are really serious about getting those important outside people to support what you are trying to do.

And the best part is, there’s no mystery about how to do it!

Start today by listing your important outside audiences in priority order. No doubt, customers and prospects will place #1 and #2. But think carefully about your local and trade media as well as community residents and leaders, suppliers and the like. The test for adding an external audience to your worry list is this: if left unattended, could its perceptions and behaviors hurt your business?

Since there is no other affordable way to find out how each of your target audiences perceive your business, products, services and operations, you must take the time to do it yourself along with your colleagues. Interact with members of that key target audience and probe their perceptions with plenty of questions. Watch for misconceptions, inaccuracies and rumors that need to be corrected. Stay alert to negativity of any kind.

This will let you decide how much you will try to alter perceptions among each audience. It also becomes the behavior modification goal against which you will measure your progress.

Now it’s message time. What will you say to members of your target audience to alter that negative perception that surfaced during your conversations with them? Your message must be persuasive, so stick with the facts and present them clearly. By identifying honestly what is really at issue at the moment, you impart a sense of credibility to your comments, and their timeliness adds a compelling dimension to your message.

What’s the best way to get that message to the eyes and ears of members of your target audience?

Here, you have an embarrassment of riches with dozens of communications tactics including news announcements, op-eds, letters-to-the-editor, speeches, community briefings, broadcast and newspaper interviews and many, many others.

Progress can best be tracked by interacting all over again with members of the target audience. While you’ll ask questions similar to those you asked in your earlier monitoring sessions, this time you’re looking for signs that your message got through. In other words, signs that your message succeeded in altering any negative perceptions of your business.

You should also monitor print and broadcast media, key customers and prospects for similar indications of success.

Should progress not be fast enough for you, you’ll want to consider increasing the number of communications tactics you employ as well as the frequency of their use. Your message should also be re-evaluated for its factual basis and clarity.

Gradually, your monitoring will playback perception changes among that target audience, and that means the behaviors you seek will not be far behind.

It is this kind of success that tells us very clearly why small business must turn to PR if it is to realize its potential.

end

Good Places to Meet Excellent Men - by: Terry Hernon MacDonald

Posted in women with tags , , , , , , , , , on May 14, 2008 by wright william

So, you’re convinced that you have zero opportunities to meet men.

Are you stuck in an office all day with the same stiffs day in and day out? Have you tried singles’ dances, only to leave feeling worse than when you went in? Did the last loser your aunt set you up with squash your Chihuahua when he screeched up the driveway?

Well, don’t fret. I have some ideas for you. While advice columnists steer single women into churches to meet honest, loyal, and successful men, I wouldn’t dream of it. Church is great for communing with God, but it never struck me as the best place to meet a man. People, including me, are on our best behavior at church. If you’d rather meet a man where he’s more likely to be himself, here are my top three recommendations:

1. A bar, specifically during Monday Night Football. Football season is a great time to meet men who flock to taverns to watch the NFL. When I was single, I loved going to Monday Night Football (even though I didn’t really understand the game) because the bar was filled with mostly single men, there was a free buffet, and the atmosphere was merry. Advice columnists usually tell women to stay out of bars if they want to meet suitable men, but I disagree. It’s important to see how a man drinks, and how he behaves under the influence of alcohol. Does he get wasted and drive home? Or, does he have a couple of beers and switch to water before he leaves? Does he smack the bartender in the head when his team loses, or does he remain amiable? There are things you can learn in a bar about a man that you never will in church. Bring a friend with you and make having fun, not hooking up, your first priority. You may have to show up three weeks in a row before anybody shows interest in you (or, then again, maybe not). Keep in mind that different bars attract different types of people. If you don’t like the crowd in one bar, try another place next time.

2. A class. I know, I know. You’ve heard this one before, but have you ever tried it? Let me tell you a story: My friend Brian’s longtime girlfriend dropped him for another guy. After grieving for a while, he dusted himself off and signed up for a cooking class. See, Brian loves to cook, but he put off pursuing formal training while he was with What’s-Her-Name. Once she was out of the picture, though, he decided to register for a course, figuring he’d meet many likeminded women there. Sure enough, he did. I advise you to write down a list of hobbies you’d like to explore and figure out which of them would also appeal to men. Then sign up for a class or join a club. See what happens.

3. Throw a party. While Brian did meet lots of women at the cooking class, he didn’t fall in love with any of them. So he threw a party where he could show off his new skills. He wasn’t picky about who he invited and told everybody to bring a friend or two. The result? A woman he’d never met showed up. They fell in love and have been married now for two years. But even if Brian hadn’t met his future wife that night, hosting that party netted him plenty of invitations to others, providing opportunities to meet many more people. A caveat: When you plan your party, don’t exclude married friends from the guest list. You don’t want your big night to feel like a singles’ mixer. Instead, invite couples and encourage them to bring a friend.

Remember, the trick to meeting new men is to break up your routine. Step one: Put down the remote. I assure you that the world is full of great single men like Brian who want to meet someone special, and for one of those men, that person is you. Seek and create new social situations. Act naturally. Smile. Whatever you do, don’t keep twisting your neck like you’re casing the place for a live one. Maintain eye contact with whomever you’re talking to, whether it’s a man or a woman. Having fun is key. When you’re having fun, you’ll attract men like a magnet.

Vitamins and Minerals Good or Bad - by: Martin Davison

Posted in food with tags , , , , , , , , , on May 14, 2008 by wright william

www.anewlife.co.uk Health News

Hello again

Unfortunately, this is long email - probably the longest we have ever done, but after the critical report regarding vitamins and minerals from the Food Standards Agency that was printed in The Times, the newspaper has been doing a debate on the issue, as they were inundated with letters.

From our own point of view, a letter that was sent in by a Doctor really puts things into perspective and felt a need to share this and other points with you..

“As the senior partner in an NHS general practise, I am very disturbed at the recent publicising of information purporting to show the dangers of nutritional supplements.

I would like to point out that nutritional supplements are generally a great deal safer than prescribed drugs. Their dangers have been grossly and, I fear, wilfully exaggerated for commercial reasons.

There is overwhelming evidence that our current Western diet does not give us adequate nutrition and that we need to take active steps to protect ourselves from the damaging effects of environmental toxins.

Both of these major health problems can be significantly reduced by appropriate use of nutritional supplements, including minerals, vitamins and antioxidants.”

- Dr Stephen Brooke, Swindon, Wiltshire

Well, we definitely agree with that, and let’s face it, there were so many flaws with the report, that if like us, you read into things, we are sure you will agree that there does seem to be a hidden agenda for the large pharmaceuticals. But, if we are taking care of our own health, surely it would be better for the NHS?? Yet of course, they wouldn’t earn as much in the drugs being prescribed - we know!

However, we thought you may like to see just a few (yes! Only some) research points and quotes on different nutrients that we have come across.

Evidence is constantly being provided by ongoing research, that Antioxidants may have an important role in the prevention of some of the most degenerative diseases in the world today, for example, arthritis, heart disease and cancer.

“patients with Angina and those at risk of heart disease, should be given supplementary vitamin E at a level, far higher than what we get from our dietary intake.” - Professor Morris Brown, Cambridge University, England

“we now have substantial evidence implicating Beta Carotene with low rates of breast and lung cancer as well as heart disease.” - Dr Meyskens, Clinical Cancer Centre, University of California. Annual Conference of the Nutritional Society of Australia.

A clinical trial was conducted on men aged between 20-30 who smoked at least one pack of cigarettes per day. They were either given a placebo, or a vitamin c supplement in the form of ascorbic acid. After only one week there was a decrease of 81% in the blood-lead levels for those taking the nutritional supplement.

“in order to obtain identical results as supplements, one would have to consume up to 1.2kg of carrots per day. The reason for this, is that Beta Carotene is not always efficiently or consistently absorbed from food.” - Dr Phillip Gaffney, Research conducted by Brisbane Hospital, Australia.

“In the future, we will not be able to rely any more on our premise that the consumption of a varied balanced diet will provide all the essential trace elements, because such a diet will be very difficult to obtain for millions of people.” - As told to Congress in 1977 by Dr W Mertz, US Department of Agriculture.

“It is bad news to learn from our leading authorities that 99 percent of the American people are deficient in minerals, and that a marked deficiency in any one of the more important minerals actually results in disease. Any upset of the balance, any considerable lack of one or another element, no matter how microscopic the body requirement may be, and we sicken, suffer, and shorten our lives.” - Sentate Document No.264 of the United States Congress, 2nd session, 1936.

An examination of data (from the Third National Health and Nutrition Examination Survey by J Simon and E Hudes) which enrolled 4,213 children aged 6-16 and 15,365 adults aged 17 and over from 1988 to 1994, found a correlation between low serum vitamin C levels and elevated blood lead levels. These authors concluded that high vitamin C intake may reduce blood lead levels.

“Also the fact that many diseases can be cured by mineral intake, in itself demonstrates that mineral deficiency is a reality in a nutritious conscious world where disease is escalating out of control. The only “good diet” in reality, is one that “includes food supplements.” - R R Barefoot & C J Reich, M.D., Authors of The Calcium Factor.

Breakthrough Antioxidant Research

“Vitamin E reduces heart attack risk by up to 75%.” - Adelaide Sunday Mail, p144, 31 March 1996

“We know that vitamins are complex chemical substances which are indespensable to nutrition, and that each of them is of importance for the normal function of some special structure of the body. Disorder and disease result from any vitamin deficiency.

It is not commonly realised, however, that vitamins control the body’s appropriation of minerals, and in the absence of minerals they have no function to perform. Lacking vitamins, the system can make some use of minerals; but lacking minerals, vitamins are useless.” - Senate Document, No.264, 1936

“Vitamin E offers protection against diabetes”. A new study published recently found that Vitamin E might protect against the development of type II diabetes.

“As an anti-inflammatory compound for arthritis, curcumin rivals cortisone. Long-term treatment of synthetic cortisone can be dangerous, with some of the side effects being: puffy face, fat redistribution from the limbs of the body, weight gain and insomnia.” - Indian Journal of Medical Research, 1972, vol.60.

According to Duane Weed Vitamin E helps to increase the fluidity of the blood and is necessary for structural and functional maintenance of the skeletal, cardiac and smooth muscle membranes. It also helps maintain Vitamin A and increase its storage in the body, and does the same for the mineral iron.

Exposure to chromium as a pollutant in the air and cigarette smoke appears to be more toxic than ingestion from food or supplements. - Shelly Silver, Biological sciences learning laboratory, NYC.

Anyway, enough of these. But you can no doubt understand why we are so against the proposed legislation’s and would never be without these exceptional supplements that have changed our family’s lives.

But even more importantly, we will be on the march in London on 15 June, to help ensure that we all still have the freedom to choose what supplements we wish to take. So if you can get there, please give your support.

Diagnosed With High Grade Breast Cancer

We have also just received a story from a person that suffered breast cancer and could not resist including this, as this is just one of the many people who would not wish to be without alternative treatments rather than the conventional.

My name is Pam Mooney My story is very personal but I feel I must tell it to try and help others. I was diagnosed with high-grade breast cancer in January 2002 I need immediate surgery it was all ready in the adult stage

The dreaded letter came through my door the day after new years day I had to ring the breast clinic. We went the next day I thought every thing would be explained. But I was then on a fair ground ride I could not get off Three hours latter I came terrified devastated.

All I wanted then was a NHS waiting list to get my head around this nightmare but there never is one when you need it most, every thing was moving to fast. I could not get the answers to my questions with conventional medicine. I was told if they did not operate in the next few days it would be to late

I told the Drs I was looking at other routes like The Metabolic Therapy I was then given a map were I was going over the next 6 months by May I would be in palliative care and June my life would be over. I asked if I went down the conventional route would I live and my cancer gone I was told there were no guaranties but conventional medicine was the right way to go. My surgery was already being arranged

My husband and I went to see Dr Rex Johnson who was already treating me for osteoarthrtis which I had suffered for a number of years I needed new hip and toe joints my spine had a lot for degenerative disc problem, Rex had told me it would take 18 months to get right we were already into 9 months and I could see a big difference. I could walk a lot further with out pain.

Rex told us about The Metabolic Therapy gave lots of books to read which I did I research all I could, he recommended I saw the surgeon

Philip Day was talking in Bournemouth the following evening, we went along everything he said made sense. I was already on the Metabolic Therapy the day I saw Rex we had already rang and ordered it i wasted no time.

After the meeting with the surgeon my mind was made up I was staying on The Metabolic Therapy

How did I get in this mess well the years leading up to the diagnose of the cancer I was very acidic in and out of hospital 4 times with a ulcerated oesophagus and urinary tract infections spend the pervious two years on antibiotics.

HRT yes after a long battle with my Dr, being a horse lover I was against HRT but when told my degenerative bone disease would get worse if I did not go on it I agreed to the patch which I was told did not come from the urine of pregnant mares. I was never tested to see if I needed it I developed sever asthma and weight gain and eventually I had brown staining on my skin the HRT add ruin my liver, I was taken off it immediately. When attending both hospitals I was asked if on HRT I ask them why they wanted to know the reply ” if you are you must b stop it immediate” I asked why” I did not get a answer.

Tamoxifen although my liver was in a bad state I would of been put on tamoxifen to control my oestrogen’s levels as my cancer was oestrogen’s fed.

Who was telling the truth about which was the best road to go down the Drs were telling the only way they know, I new there was another way I new how governments lied. I work for the Milk Marketing Broad Before BSE was given a name. I heard the farmers pleading to cull all the cattle affected; I listen to the ministry vets pleading for the destroyed cattle to be burned. But I know these cattle were milked, the milk going into the tank when these poor animals could hardly stand they were sent for slaughter and in the human food change. Credence seems to be the only people to be telling the truth and I was staying with The Metabolic Therapy.

An important factor: my cancer ran along were the wire of the bra was I was told it was a difficult place to treat but a common place to have it, why aren’t women told this information.

Stress my middle name I had to learn to deal with this Rex was my coach.

My career a very busy Hairdresser pouring Sodium laruly Sulphate on my skin 13 times a day, surveys in four counties have found hairdresser come top of the list for breast cancer.

Negative people I could not cope with these so I put them behind a wall until I was strong enough to cope with them. I hurt some of these people I am sorry but it was the only way I could handle them.

Diet I put on a lot of weight with HRT Dairy products our very own Vicky Millward found my son’s and myself were allergy to them years ago. Meat I was bought up by my grand parents who had a butcher shop and slaughterhouse, I thought animals look much nicer in the field than on my plate. I do now juice and grow and eat seeds

I have found one important factor in all this you must research every thing you are told and whichever road you take to address your cancer, you MUST step out of the world that caused it.

You have a wonder full company like Neways run by a family who focus on the latest medical technology and then blend with the very best of nature and then produces products that are safe.

It is now April 2003 I have just had some blood test done they are all clear.

I wish my dear friend Selma was a live, she had exactly the same cancer as me had the operation and all the nastiest. Selma died but well holding her hand near her end she said ” There must be another way: her words have rang a bell in my head ever since. Inside of me all through this I have felt a present some one willing me down the holistic route I know it was Selma. Her route was awful a lot of pain and no quantity of life and leaving a 12-year-old son to grow up with out a mother

Yes there is another way I have proved it unfortunately the governments try to keep It hidden.

I after a lot of research I took the right route for me, I hope you ever have to choose

There are 884 cancer-causing chemicals out there in our every-day personal care products. I had no idea, but as soon as I was told I changed.

I have two very special people to thank.

The first Dr Rex Johnson he was my coach through all this my mind was a terrible mess there were trees to be fell things to face. I could not have the rich commodity of a negative mind. Thanks to Rex I have come out of this a much stronger person.

My husband always there for me though the angry moods the tears the depression and supporting me all the way, and of course the financial side I now am a rich commodity.

It’s now May 2003 My blood and bone test are all clear I feel healthy now that I have felt for years.

My career now is full time with Neways building a business and helping others

I am so grateful we have Neways without they’re wonderful products I would never have reach this stage with my health.

Also credence for their research and the metabolic therapy.

http://www.credence.org/

Neways provided me with the following to keep my immune system up

  • Maximal
  • Revenal
  • Cascading Revanol
  • Noni
  • Cassie Tea
  • Omega Three
  • EFA
  • Vitacell
  • Prafree program
  • Portectver

And of course a chemical free Bathroom products and the safe household products to clean my home. I just love the makeup and skin care range everyone comments on my skin I know it the products; I am a product of the products.

I thought cancer was going to be the biggest battle of my life, but trying to keep the vitamins and minerals l need to control my cancer have prove to be a nightmare. I have saved the NHS thousands of pounds in money in not going the conventional route. They have rewarded me by banning most of the vitamins and minerals I need. I have constantly been writing to Tony Blair and the health Minster who tell you nothing is banned yet. They obviously have now idea what is going on in there own country.

EU MP very sympathetic but he is only a figurehead with out any powers So this battle I cannot win without the help of all of you So I appeal to all of you please give up one Sunday of the year and march on the 15 June 2003. Lobby the Prime Minister because with out these minerals and vitamins my live will soon be over Cancer is a silent disease it does not show it self until is dangerous.

Thank-you for listening to my story..

Pam Mooney

Bere Regis

Well, we did say it was a long email, and sorry, but felt this had to be done, and please, please do pass this on to anyone you know and care about.

After all, whether it is someone suffering now, or maybe in the future, everyone should still have the right to choose for their future and that of their future generations. The nutrient situation is never going to get any better, only worse, as the soils get even more depleted over the years and we end up plagued by more and more chemicals - need we say any more?

Yes! Just remember the petition on 15 June in London. Support it if you can. The more people that rally, the better for all of mankind. But if you want more information on this go to: http://www.healthfreedommovement.com/

Take care.

CSS - Maximum Benefits - by: Zoran Makrevski

Posted in design with tags , , , , , , , , , on May 14, 2008 by wright william

What is CSS?

CSS is a simple file which controls the visual appearance of a Web page without compromising its structure. Using CSS we can control our font size, font color, link color and many other attributes on our web page. This will make our HTML code much more readable and the page size will be reduced.

Why to use it and how to use it properly

If you don’t use CSS on your web pages and you have many tables and content on them, chances are that your HTML file size will be quite big. Fact is that we live in a busy world, and people are not will to wait more than 5 seconds web page to load.

From the other side some web developers implement the CSS on wrong way. They write their CSS in HTML code of the page, like this:

<html><head><title>My Page</title><style>A	{	font-family: Verdana;	font-size:8pt;	color:black; text-decoration:none	}</style>…..

What is wrong with this technique? Well, imagine that you have site with more than 50 pages. One day, you decide that you want to change font color and colors of the links on your site. You will have to edit ALL the pages on your site, and do to that you will need time, because you place your CSS in your web page.

Better way is to save your visual attributes in separate, external CSS file, and to link that file with your page like this:

<html><head><title>My Page</title><link rel=’external nofollow’ href=”myStyle.css” rel=”stylesheet” type=”text/css”>….

Using this technique, you can change the look of your site within minutes, regardless of the number of pages, because your visual attributes are saved in ONE external CSS file. Edit that file, and you are done.

Benefits

Which are the benefits of using CSS? List is quite long and I will list here only the most important.

  • Your web page will load faster
  • Web page will become more search engine friendly
  • You can change you site appearance within minutes
  • You can write separate CSS file for handheld devices which will be called up instead of the regular CSS file
  • You can forget about creating printer friendly version of your site using separate CSS file when user chooses to print the web page.

Avoiding standard HTML commands like:

<font color=”#0000ff”><font size=2>Product</font></font></font>

will help us to reduce file size, but that is not the only benefit. Using CSS word product in this example will be moved more close on the top of the document. Search engine will pick up more content and less code.

Imagine that you have 3 columns table on your page. When you see the code, you will notice that first come code for your table, and after that it come your content. Positioning your 3 columns using CSS instead of standard inline elements:

<table width=”90%” border=”0″ cellspacing=”0″ cellpadding=”0″> <tr> <td width=”381″ height=”150″ valign=”top” bgcolor=”FFEDD4″>My Product</td> <td height=”150″ valign=”top” bgcolor=”FFEDD4″>…..

When CSS is used, your code might look like this:

<div id=”leftcontent”>My Product</div>

Again your code is much more clear, and your content is moved on the top of your document, making your HTML page search engine friendly, and reducing your file size.

Content is one of the most important factors in Search Engine Optimization, and you will benefit with removing the unnecessary code in your HTML and create search engine friendly web page.

Validate it

Browser war is far behind us. Reality is that most of the people today use Internet Explorer, but you should try to be on safe side and ensure that your CSS code is valid. Not all browsers interpret the CSS on same way. You can validate your CSS here: http://jigsaw.w3.org/css-validator/

Your Best Guitar Practice Routine - by: Griff Hamlin

Posted in movies with tags , , , , , , , , , on May 14, 2008 by wright william

Coming up with the best guitar practice routine is a matter of first deciding what your goals are. For most guitarists when they think of a practice routine, the goal is to improve speed and technique. For some, sight reading may also be an area that needs work, as well as improvisation, soloing, rhythm and timing issues. What follows is what I’ve used and developed over the course of the last 20 years to get my technique and artistry to where I want it to be.

First, let’s look at where you are. If you don’t already know how to play the Pentatonic scales and diatonic scales, you need to do that first. Once you have them all memorized, let’s look at how to work with those, and chromatic exercises as the basis for the best guitar practice routine for you and your needs. There are links to pdf files of these scales on my website as well as many others out there.

To start with, you need to set aside about 30 minutes for nothing but technique practice, and it shouldn’t be the very first thing that you do. My suggestion is to start with reading practice while you get your fingers warmed up. That way, they’re ready to go when you start with the metronome. If you’re not working on your reading, then warm up with some easy music. I like to warm up with a couple of studies from the book “Classical Studies for Pick-Style Guitar” by William Leavitt. There’s 2 studies in there by a violinst named Kreutzer that I really like to use. I use these for warm-up, so don’t try to play them at top speed. Paganini also has some famous violin pieces that have been transcribed for guitar and make good practice tools.

If you are practicing your reading, my former teacher, David Oakes, has a great book called “Music Reading for Guitar” that is very good. In addition, I like the “Reading Studies for Guitar” book by William Leavitt. There are certainly others, but these are well known and respected books on sight reading for guitar, which we all know is a big problem. As for the amount of time, I’ve done everything from 2 hours per day to very little, and I can’t see that past about 15 minutes there’s a huge amount of benefit. If you read for about 15 minutes per day, you will get better, it’s that simple. Reading is something that must be practiced daily or close to it to keep your chops up.

Now that you’re all warmed up, let’s start working the scales and pushing the speed a little bit. I start with the pentatonic and blues scales. You’ll notice that they are all written in the key of A minor/C major. Once you have learned them in this key, they transpose to other keys simply by moving them. If you want to be in the key of F minor, just move all of the boxes down 4 frets from the A to the F and away you go. What I like to do is set a metronome at an easy pace, around 120, and play all 5 boxes in F minor at that pace. You can use eighth notes, triplets, or sixteenth notes depending on your level of proficiency. In other words, either play 2 notes per beat, 3 notes per beat, or 4 notes per beat depending on how fast you can already play the scales.

Once you’ve finished all 5 boxes, move up to the key of F# minor, and increase the speed on the metronome by 5 BPM. Repeat the process with every key. Once you get up to around B, you’ll probably start running out of fretboard. No problem, when it gets too far up the neck, just go down an octave by subtracting 12 frets. You’ll be playing the same notes, just one octave lower.

Once you’ve done this with all of the pentatonic and blues scale patterns, move on to the diatonic scales. You can do one scale in all keys, then move on, or do all the scales in one key, and then move on. I would start with F# since you’ll have open strings if you use F. What I do is to start with G major, then A dorian, B phrygian, C lydian, D mixolydian, E aeolian, F# locrian. Then move on to G# major, A# dorian, etc.

Once I’ve done just the scale patterns, I go back and practice the broken thirds and stepwise thirds and usually stepwise fourths as well if I have time. Another fantastic book to add to your collection is from the Guitar Grimoire series and it’s the Exercise Book. The author, Adam Kadmon, has written out what effectively has been my own personal practice routine for years. It’s an outstanding book if you want the best guitar practice routine right in front of you without having to come up with it.

After all of that is done, take a break! Your hands will likely be tired, and you’ve been concentrating which tires your body out. Get up for a few minutes and walk around. Shake out your hands and wrists. Get some water, a bite to eat, whatever.

After all of that, it’s play time. Depending on what you’re trying to learn right now, this is always open ended. If you’re working on your improvisation, then play with some jam tracks and work on licks. If you’re learning a song, now’s the time to do that. Spend some time at the end of every practice session doing what’s really the most fun to you. You should notice that after having practiced all of your scales and taken a few minutes of break, you’re playing better than you have before. Now go practice!
